Place is a landmark. They have good fast hot food. Home made pies for dessert. Everything I have ever had there has been wonderful!
This place is amazing! If your looking for down home old school breakfast this is your spot. Great food, great service and reasonable prices. Don't waste your time anywhere else.
Food was delicious. Service was fast. Heather (server) made the entire experience lots of fun. Can't wait to return and try waffle with apple filling and caramel sauce. Choc chip (left pic) and cinnamon raisin(right pic) waffle were delicious. Excellent

Just moved to the area and started trying new places. The staff was courteous and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious for an amazing price. Definitely will come back and tell everybody about it! We tried their strawberry shortcake. Strawberries were fresh, sweet and juicy and the cake was perfect. Didn't even get mushy in the sauce.
It had been years since I last stopped at Hasty Tasty, and I had been longing for their Poor Man's Cabbage Rolls! I usually got mashed potatoes to go with it, but this time I thought I would try the potato skins with sour cream and the pineapple with cottage cheese. I was served a homemade slice of bread with a small scoop of soft butter on top (my grandpa would have loved it!), and I even chose a piece of chocolate pie with homemade whipped cream on top for dessert! Service was excellent, and Hasty Tasty truly lives up to its name! It has that 'old time nostalgia'-- from local antiques to the music of yesteryear! I even got to hug 'Mama June' before I left!! ????
I liked this place so much that I visited twice in two days! I was able to feed all my cravings from a diner: waffle, eggs, bacon, tenderloin, fries, pie. If I lived in Dayton I would visit regularly:)
Stopped in for breakfast with some friends after a soccer match. Despite showing up at 10am, the wait for an 8 person table wasn't too bad at all. Our server immediately greeted us and took our drink orders. Our food arrived quickly and as ordered, which is always great to see. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and left with full stomachs. Portion sizes were perfect. We'll be sure to make a return trip in the near future. I highly suggest eating here!!
I have a deep love for vintage diners, and this one is true to form. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with a smile and seated quickly, and when it's not busy you seat yourself which i love. It's so casual and consistently GOOD! Love that it's family owned and you can feel that familiar touch throughout the entire place. Cozy and simple, it's quickly become my favorite place to eat!
